Elizabeth & Joe [Part II]

remember these two?
they were married in August.
they looked stunning.
they were a blast. seriously. saturated in personality and i loved it!
the backyard reception was held at the bride’s home in Corona, Ca.
where they had a special request for some trampoline shots:)
oh..and also some double-dutch.
after every photo shoot (and especially weddings) i feel like I’m best friends with the bride and groom. there was no exception here. Although their wedding day was the first and only time I had met either of them before, I felt so close by the end of the night.
sigh.
many happy wishes for your future together, Mr. and Mrs. Krumm!

I will have to call you about family pictures. Ricky and Shannon LOVED you and say how wonderful you are. The only thing… well, our family can be a little hard. My son is disabled and can be a moving target. wink!!!

The Larsen Family

I don’t think that there really is much that I need to say about this family.
Just look at little Gwen!! How much on a scale of 1-10 do you just want to kiss her adorable little chubby cheeks??
and those eyes… I hardly made any touch up on her eyes at all. Those baby blues are that bright all on her own!
Her parents, Kellie and Brett are so in love with her. (so am I after meeting her)
ps…Kellie is also a photographer!
Gwen is going to be a big sister come November! Another little girl on the way:)

Thank you so much Larsens for letting me take your photos! How lucky are you to have another little Gwen soon!?

note: the props in the photo shoot are my “fall session” props. Look for an advertisement very soon about mini or full “fall themed” sessions for children and families!!

Shannon & Ricky

Before I can say anything else..I just need to say that I have never laughed so hard or had so much fun taking engagement pictures as I did with these two.
Now that that’s out of the way…
When Shannon and Ricky asked me take their engagements, I was thrilled because I know these two are super fun and up for anything.
They told me that they wanted something different for their engagements, and that they both liked to be active and have a good time.
So… after a little brainstorming, we decided on a water balloon fight engagement shoot after I stumbled across Ruffled Blog which featured a similar idea.
Of course we had to do just a few “nice” photos before things got crazy.

SO so so much fun! They were soaked. We were lucky it was a warm day.
I am beyond thrilled to have been able to work with these two, and am so excited to be doing their wedding photos in January!

Thank you Shannon and Ricky!
