Dustin & Ashley are Engaged!!

I love morning. I think it’s both the happiest and the prettiest time of day. Dustin & Ashley were awesome enough to put up with my craziness and wake up early on a Saturday to meet me down at San Juan Capistrano for their engagements.

(By the way…Dustin is the little brother of Moment Prive’s Halleigh, and Ashley is her lovely assistant!)

i know.

they’re both beautiful people.

They’re also hilarious and so much fun to be with. I will be counting the days until they tie the knot on 9-10-11!!

Beautiful location, and amazing pictures! My favorite is the one in front of the red train with the sun beaming in from the side. It's so shiny!

Shannon & Ricky are Married!

January 15th was the day that Ricky and Shannon were married.

(it also happened to be the day that I turned 23. yikes. thats not as fun.)

The weather was perfect. The sky was a bright blue, and these two were in love!

Their ring ceremony and reception were both held at the Cerritos Center of the Performing Arts.

Shannon let me in on a little secret a few days before the wedding…

After their ceremony, bride and groom (and the entire wedding party!) put on a little song and dance for the guests. So fun! They had everyone clapping along by the time they were done.

Thank you, Shannon and Ricky again for allowing me to have the priveledge to be a part of your day! I am so excited for your lives together!

Second Shooting for Tonya Joy

I have raved about and praised Tonya Joy more than once before…and with good reason!

She is one amazing photographer with a ton of talent and the kindest personality to go right along with it.

I was so fortunate to be able to tag along with her at Tara and Jeff’s wedding.

(fellow photogs-i highly recommend attending one of Tonya’s workshops!!)

They were married at the Newport Beach LDS Temple on a cold January morning.

Their reception was Circuis themed! It was so fun and so well put together by Nicole of LaVee Events.

Thank you Tonya, for such a great opportunity, and thank you Tara and Jeff for your perfect day that you were kind enough to share with me…I wish you the best!

Portfolio Portraits for Allison Rivera!

My friend Ally is a very talented makeup/hair artist. So much so, that she is putting together a portfolio!

(her website is still in the works)

She asked me if i could take pictures for her to have something to put in her porfolio. I was delighted! She brought along her two (and both gorgeous!) sisters-in-law.
