She is from California. He is from Utah.
She was giddy about taking pictures. (Especially at the beach.) He confessed he was maybe a little bit nervous 🙂
But….
they are both beyond excited about each other. And very, very in love.
Jim thanked me later that morning for “not making it awkward” (“it” meaning picture-taking)….but he was perfect!!
They will be married this June in Newport Beach, and I can’t wait to hang out with them all day long again!!

do you remember my little sister Lexi? I had a chance to go to Utah last weekend, and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take Lex out again for a quick little photo shoot.
Utah is beautiful. beautiful! especially in winter. i just couldnt not choose those mountains. or that lake.

I have been friends with Mallory for years. She and Cody have become like family to me and are just about the cutest couple around. I was beyond thrilled when Cody let me in on a little secret about a surprise proposal he had planned with the ever talented Tonya Joy.

I have been so so so excited to take some engagement pictures for them and am so happy about their wedding coming in the fall!
P.S. Mallory’s beautiful makeup was done by Kellie Savage. (who just so happens to be Cody’s mom!!)
